The Book That Shouldn’t Exist: A New Chapter in My Writing Journey

Hey friends,
I wanted to take a little time today to share something that’s been brewing behind the scenes—something that’s honestly both exciting and a little intimidating for me. For the past few months, I’ve been working on a new book titled “The Book That Shouldn’t Exist.” If you’ve followed my journey with “The Codex of Two Kingdoms,” you’ll know how much I love weaving faith, history, and a good dose of imagination into stories that explore the age-old battle between good and evil.
This new book is a work of fiction, but it’s deeply inspired by the same themes that have always driven me: the ongoing war between light and darkness, the choices we make, and the hope that’s found in grace. Like “Codex of Two Kingdoms,” this story draws a map of the spiritual struggles that have been going on since the Garden of Eden—except this time, I’m letting my imagination run wild. I’m using old notes, scribbles, and late-night thoughts to build a world that feels both familiar and brand new.
Why “The Book That Shouldn’t Exist”? Well, sometimes the best stories are the ones that almost never make it to the page—the ones that feel too risky, too personal, or just too strange to share. But I believe that if a story can encourage just one person, it’s worth telling. So, here I am, taking the leap.

Meanwhile at The Shoppe…

On the business side of things, life hasn’t slowed down one bit! The Shoppe has been buzzing with activity lately. We’ve had a steady flow of folks coming in for vape products, and I’m grateful for every single customer who walks through our doors. We’re also excited to announce that The Shoppe will be sponsoring a local golf course this year—just a little something fun to give back to the community and maybe meet a few new faces along the way.
As always, I appreciate your prayers, your support, and the kind words you send my way. Whether you’re here for the stories, the shirts, or just to say hello, you’re a vital part of this journey.
Stay tuned for more updates on “The Book That Shouldn’t Exist”—I’ll be sharing sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes thoughts as the project comes together. And if you’re ever in Fort Oglethorpe, stop by The Shoppe and say hi!
Grace and peace, Joe
